Very sketchy that ALL the prophets of Baal, when advising Ahab to go to war, that ALL of them said go to war (they all had a lying spirit, a demon, placed in their mouths to tell a lie.)
Only Micaiah the remaining prophet of God (and Elisha in the mountains) told the Kinds the truth, they will lose and Ahab will be killed.
The prophets of Baal served Jezebel, not Ahab so they obeyed her.
This seems very good for Jezebel who was really, really mad that her husband was NOT pleased that she killed Naboth to get the vineyard for Ahab, and after Ahab learned of it, Ahab tore his clothes, put on sack cloth and repented of the sin or murder from his wife.
She would be really mad at Ahab for this.
So, Ahab's son (Jezebel's son) in ready to take the throne of Israel, and Jehoshaphat is King of Juda has Jezebel's daughter married to Jehoshaphat's son.
So, IF both Kings are killed, Jezebels son and her son and law will be on the throne of both kingdoms.
Here is my hypothesis ... Jezebel WANTED to kill both kings to gain control of all of the Jews and turn them all back to Baal with her in control.
That is why I believe ALL the prophets of Baal (who worked for Jezebel) ALL said, "Go on up and fight, you will win, god will deliver them into your hands."
I think she wanted both kings dead.
