It surprises me that the book of the Law of Moses could be lost and forgotten on a dusty shelf in the closet somewhere the Temple. Josiah, the king, one of the very few good ones in history, had no idea such a thing even existed and he lived next door to the temple. It is so easy for man to put God on a shelf and assume the ways of the world are the only ways. I wonder how many in our world, our nation, our church who consider themselves faithful, or righteous, or even just good, have never read how God defines those qualities.
