In Exodus 4:24 talks about Moses at a lodging place on the way to Egypt and the Lord met him and was about to kill him until Zipporah his wife steps in. This surprised me and I did not remember ever reading this part. Why does the Lord want to kill Moses?

I have the same question. That surprised me as well. I wonder if anyone has any insight on that.
