Greetings Bible Adventurists,

Welcome to November, the month of Thanksgiving

It’s amazing that in our year long reading of the Bible, it only takes 40 days to get from the Jesus’ birth until He is standing in front of Pontius Pilot. The four versions of Jesus’ life and ministry together make up only about 12% of the Bible. So much information, instruction, and lessons for life (this and the next) packed into so few words. These few words have arguably changed the world more than any other, even from an earthly, secular standpoint. These few words are explained and validated by all the preceding experiences recorded in the Old Testament and reinforced in the epistles and Acts. Even the Old Testament is not very many words to document 6000 years of human history. Together the Bible gives us the amazing story of the wonderful world, experiences and opportunities God created just for us and His plan for us to thrive in His presence. John reminds us that these few words
“are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
