Adam and Eves real sins

Post by Waylonf15 »

The treachery of Adam is huge, HE was told by God about the tree, and HE stood WITH Eve when he watched her eat of it. Then right after Eve ate of it, she had every sin in the world jump on her, and she turned to her pure husband and knowing that he was a coward and made her eat of it first, she turned, knowing what would happen to him and said, Here, it is good, you eat of it.

This is just sick betrayal of each other

Gen 3:6
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

OK. So is there a difference between knowing right from wrong and knowing Good from Evil? They both knew it was wrong, but after Eve took ate it, did she knowingly do evil by offering it to Adam? As a loose analogy, my dog may steal food off the table. He knows its wrong, but he doesn't do it to be evil.

Heidi and I were talking about this. What was so "temping" about the tree and the fruit? They knew it was wrong to eat of it, but yet they chose to. The temptation, as with the very, very first was to be God. Satan chose to rebel because it seems, he wanted to be God. Adam and Eve wanted the same. Self worship, as being equal to, and higher than God himself. What satan offered, was the same sin satan did. Gen 3:5 "and you shall be as gods."

Much of what we suffer today ... same thing, over and over again.
